I will always have wonderful and fond memories of Nick.   He was so kind and thoughtful and always made me very welcome in the family home when I visited him and Jill on many occasions over the years.

Nick was a gentleman who went the extra mile and carried my suitcase and luggage up the stairs after my journey.   Every evening the blocks of chocolate appeared from his trip to the local shop so we all gained the pounds when I was there.    When he and Jill visited me in Ufton Nervet, we dragged him round the garden centres and he wheeled all the plants round so that we were hands free to select more to put in the trolley and this he did gladly with no complaints, even though he didn’t have the passion for gardening that we sisters had.

On Jill’s 60th birthday Nick planned a surprise present which was a trip to Italy and he very kindly invited me to join them.   I shall always remember that holiday with great affection and for the many happy memories that I will always treasure.
